A few months ago we did a focus piece on Oleg Oprisco from Lviv, Ukraine, who creates the most stunningly realistic photos using nothing more than an old school $50 camera. While Olge’s collection gave the world of digital photography a night off, Erik Johansson, a surrealist photographer, reminds of what advancements in photo technology can create. Check out his collection of super surreal photos and a behind the scenes look at the creative process. I went through his collection, and saw a lot of inspiration drawn from one of my all time favorite artists, MC Escher. Which collection do you prefer more?
